From idea to action
Idétåget (Raw translation: The train of ideas) is touring around Sweden during April 20th to May 11th (tour schedule below) to spread the word about innovation and entrepreneurship to the Swedish youth. Great idea!
A bunch of Swedish organisations (complete list below) active within the entreprenurial eco-system has just started the tour with a small exibition event at Stockholm Central Station. It is all about helping out and providing support, inspiration and guidance for those who have an idea that they want to explore further by covering several topics on board the train such as how to protect your idea, administration, finance, design, development, sales and sustainability. Along with those topics, seminars, workshops and mingle sessions will also be available.
The idea competition (Ungas Idétävling)
There are also an ongoing competition during tour where young people can compete with the best idea with the chance to win personal coaching from Drivhuset, workshop with industry leaders and the chance to apply for 10 000 SEK in “soft money”. Great!
Malin Hassler from Student Competions and Julia Selander from Venture Cup Syd is talking to visitors at the Central Station and encouraging them to join the idea competition. All you need to do is answer two questions neatly presented on a napkin (where many of the best ideas are born): “What is the problem?” and “What is your solution?”.
